By default, Impact 5 does not display the name of the current tool. This feature (the 'Toolstack') was visible by default for previous Impact versions. If you wish to display the 'Toolstack':
- Switch to 'Customise' mode (right-click next to the Help menu and pick the 'Customise' option).
- Click the 'Commands' tab.
- Click the 'Main Toolbar' category and locate both the 'Tools' drop-down list (this is the actual 'Toolstack' itself) and the 'Tools:' label.
- Simply drag & drop these items into a suitable position within your current Impact environment.
Always remember to re-save your appearance setting after making any changes to your environment!
