Typically an 'out of bounds error message' is displayed at plot-time, but in theory, it could occur whenever a pulldown list (with a bad index) is invoked.
Symptoms
In this example, when selecting a post-processor, a message similar to the following is displayed:
Index out of bounds warning
Note that the index number may vary.
Cause
Essentially the data index for this dropdown list box has temporarily corrupted itself. This causes impact to believe you're selecting an item from the list that isn’t there right now (due to the temporary index) issue.
Solution
To clear the message/error, simply re-select your desired item in the list - start by simply selecting an alternative item within the list and then re-select your intended list item.
This will flush the error from the system and should now work as intended.
Solution
Still Not Working
If the above solution has not resolved your problem, you may have found another cause of this error. Please create a support ticket and describe the problem you're having in as much details as you can.
