This document describes how to use the plugin’s general interface.
The appearance of the plugin will vary slightly depending on its function. To open the general interface, right-click on any part of the dialog.
Context Menu (Updated!)
Right-clicking on the plugin window will bring up a menu that will allow you to do generic functions to the active tool.
Setup
This will open an additional dialog that shows global values that are available to the plugin. These values can be changed and will be used for all settings within this configuration file. (See Save for more information about configurations.)
Send Feedback (New)
This will take you to a feedback web-page where you can give us your thoughts on the Manufacturing Toolbox.
Database (New)
Fly out menu that groups together functions involved with the active database. If this is disabled (greyed out) then the database is not accessible by the plugin. Please see the database settings for more details.
Setting Manager (New)
Displays the Database Settings Manager dialog where you can fine tune the settings stored in the active database.
Open
Opens data associated with the active tool from the connected database. Please note this requires the connected database to have a suitable custom table to store the data.
Save
Save the current settings into the database. Please note this requires the connected database to have a suitable custom table to store the data and for the user to be an administrator.
Import
Allows you to choose a configuration file that contains settings using the Windows file structure.
Export
Creates a Windows file that contains all settings associated with the active tool.
Close
Closes the current tool.
