Entities which represent a section of steel rule, or a knifed path in a dieboard, may contain bridges. The bridges are normally displayed as gaps in the lines and arcs, although they can be displayed in any colour. Any geometric entity can contain bridges of any quantity, position or size.
If you are not interested in the bridges, you can hide them using the Visibility tool or the Visibility page of the Impact Explorer.
You can use Edit - Rebridge or Edit - Quick Rebridge to modify the bridges of an entity. You can use Enquire - Distance - Bridge or Enquire - Distance - All Bridges to check the bridge data.
You can configure bridge styles via Design Options; it is usually better to do this in a template than in an individual project.
Every palette can be assigned default bridging settings via the Palette Attributes form.
