Symbol Pattern

Symbol Patterns are a way of grouping symbols together to place them in one operation, rather than placing each symbol separately.

The pattern can then be placed manually by the Lay Symbol Pattern tool or by adding the pattern to the Dieboard or Stripper Machines Master Tool Settings. Symbol patterns are created in the Master Tool Settings. Before the pattern can be created all the required symbols must be created.

To create the pattern, open the Master Tool Settings and open the folder Symbol Pattern.

When adding a new pattern or changing an existing pattern the Symbol Pattern Attributes form appears. This form lists the symbols that are to be placed. You also specify how the pattern is to be placed with the Lay Symbol Pattern tool.

When a symbol is added or changed the Pattern Symbol Attributes form appears. Here the properties of each symbol are specified, including the scale, orientation and collision checking. Each symbol within the pattern can be replicated to create a pattern offsetting in the X and Y.
