Newly drawn entities are automatically selected.
Symptoms
Drawn entities are automatically selected after creation, with additional entities being added to the previous selections.
Cause
It's possible the Auto-Select feature is still enabled following prior usage or it accidentally and unknowingly enabled.
Solution
Go to Edit > Select and click on Auto-Select to disable. This feature is a toggle that stays active until toggled off and is reflected visually by its icon.
