After importing an AutoCAD-generated DXF or DWG file, specific entity types (i.e.. 'Point' types) appear to have been ignored.
Symptoms
In the following screenshot (from AutoCAD 2025), the centre-points of the circles are denoted by 'Point' type entities.
In this specific example, the entities are in the shape of a cross:

Please note that 'Point' type entities can have various styles:

When previewing (or importing the file) in Impact, the 'Point' type entities are not displayed:
Import preview of the Gasket in Impact - minus the 'Point' type entities.
Imported Gasket in Impact - minus the 'Point' type entities.
Cause
Currently, Impact does not support AutoCAD 'Point' type entities.
Solution
Within AutoCAD itself, it's possible to automate the placement of regular Line or 'Circle' type entities, over the top of the 'Point' type entities, to act as a usable centre-mark. This can be accomplished via a LISP routine, entered into the AutoCAD command line.
Check the following link for examples:
Following an export of the modified file, Impact will be able to display the newly-added entities.
In the example below, a LISP routine was used to augment the 'Point' type entities with 2.5mm radius circles:
Import preview of the modified Gasket in Impact - small circles representing the circle centres.
Imported Gasket in Impact - small circles representing the circle centres.
