Override Settings

If this option is checked, then the components may be placed anywhere in the drawing without constraint. Otherwise, the tool will attempt to force the component to remain within the confines of the wooden block.

How to use the tool

Select the centre of the support pin to edit in the Stripper Creator Editor. Then, either select another support pin, or select the drag handle to pick up the support pin and move it to a new location.

Edit > Wooden Block > Add Support Pin

This tool enables you to add a support pin to the wooden block in the currently selected stripper area/region, if it has had male waste settings applied that define one.

Edit bar controls

Interactive

If this option is checked, then the tool will allow you to create a line of support pins (both major and minor if defined) using two clicks, one for each end of the line; otherwise, the tool will add a single major support pin, and you just click once for the centre of the pin.

Override Settings

If this option is checked, then the components may be placed anywhere in the drawing without constraint. Otherwise, the tool will attempt to force the component to remain within the confines of the wooden block.

How to use the tool

With the interactive mode on, to construct the line pick the start point using the required snap mode. Then pick the second point. Support pins are placed along the line. Otherwise, simply pick a point at which to add a support pin.

Edit > Wooden Block > Remove Support Pin

This tool enables you to remove support pins from the selected stripper area/region, if it has had male waste settings applied that define a wooden block.

How to use the tool

Simply select the centre of the support pin that you wish to remove.

Edit > Wooden Block > Add Air Hole > Circle

This tool enables you to add a circular air hole to the wooden block in the currently selected stripper area/region, if it has had male waste settings applied that define one.

Edit bar controls

Interactive

If this option is checked, then the tool will allow you to create the air hole using two clicks, one for each side of the circle; otherwise, the tool will allow you to specify a radius, and just click once for the centre of the circle.

Radius

If the Interactive option is not checked, then this option allows you to specify the radius of the air hole you wish to add.

Offset

This option allows you to specify an offset value which is displayed on the cursor around the air hole as you use the tool. This is a useful visual reference.

How to use the tool

With the Interactive mode on, to construct the circle pick the first point through which the circle passes using the required snap mode. A flexible circle is then drawn rotating about the first picked point. Then pick the second point.

Hold the Control key to invert the operation and add back wood rather than take it away to create an air hole.

Edit > Wooden Block > Add Air Hole > Rectangle

This tool enables you to add a rectangular air hole to the wooden block in the currently selected stripper area/region, if it has had male waste settings applied that define one.

Edit bar controls

Offset

This option allows you to specify an offset value which is displayed on the cursor around the air hole as you use the tool. This is a useful visual reference.

Fillet Radius

This value determines the corner radius.

How to use the tool

To construct the rectangle pick the point for the first corner of the rectangle. Then pick the opposite diagonal corner.

Hold the Control key to invert the operation and add back wood rather than take it away to create an air hole.

Edit > Wooden Block > Remove Air Hole

This tool allows you to remove an air hole simply by clicking on any point within it.
