Lock Angle

  Edit Bar controls: none.

This tool allows you to align picked points to be a fixed multiple of a specified angle from the previously entered point.

The angle is specified in Lock Angle of the Snap Settings toolbox and Snap Settings dialog.

For example, set Lock Angle to 45 degrees, start the Draw>Multiple Lines and Arcs tool in 2 Pt. Line mode, pick the first point of the line then activate the angle lock mode. You will notice an angle tool-tip appearing at the start of the line.

As you move the cursor, the line and the tool-tip are changed in increments of 45 degrees.

This lock mode automatically switches off after one pick.
