Boolean Operations

  Edit Bar controls: Method, Apply.

This tool allows you to manually combine several blocks to create one new block. Usually this will be used on overlapping blocks, each of which should be a closed shape.

The resulting block will be given a unique name, starting with OutBlock followed by _1, _2 etc.

From the drop-down list choose the required mode.

Difference

The result is the first block minus the second. Click on the first block, then the second block. The new block is created.

Intersect

The result is the area of overlap between the blocks. Click on the first block, then the second block, then optionally any subsequent blocks. Press Apply. The new block is created.

Union

The result is all the shapes joined together. Click on the first block, then the second block, then optionally any subsequent blocks. Press Apply. The new block is created.
