Edit Bar controls: Mode, Symbols, Delete Others, Rewind, Finish, Cancel.
This tool allows you to delete specified symbols in the current layer.
To delete symbols in the current layer choose the symbol to be deleted from the Symbols drop-down list and from the Mode list choose either Delete Symbols or Select Symbols.
Mode
If mode Delete Symbols is chosen, then pick or box the symbols to be deleted. These will then be deleted as they are picked.
If the mode Select Symbols is chosen, then pick or box the symbols to keep. Then press Delete Others to delete the named symbols that have not been selected.
Symbols
This drop-down list contains all of the symbols present in the current layer. Choose the one that you wish to delete.
Delete Others
Use this button to delete the symbols that have not been selected.
Rewind
Press this button to add the most recently deleted symbols back to the layer.
Finish
Press this button to close the tool and finally delete the chosen symbols.
Cancel
Press this button to close the tool and reinstate the deleted symbols.
