These tools allow you to make queries or measurements on the current drawing layer. Many of the tools display the results on the Edit Bar. Additionally, the results of the enquiry are sent to the Output Toolbox.
The results will be displayed in the current units as specified in your Environment Settings.
Many of the Enquire tools require you to select the entities of interest first - often the tool will be greyed out until there are selected entities. See Selecting Entities.
