This tool allows you to determine the area of cut type palettes in the current layer.
The cut type entities which form closed loops are classified as either forming the exterior of a design or a hole within a design. The area of the holes is subtracted from that of the design. Any entities not forming closed loops are ignored. A separate calculation is done for each one-up in the layer and then an overall total area is also calculated.
Once the tool is activated the results will be displayed in a floating toolbox, like the one below, with the option to copy them to the Output toolbox.
