Define Origin Position allows the user to change the origin on the Parametric Design. This is done if a new starting coordinate is needed.
Impact has an Origin based Parametric engine so wherever the Origin is, that's where Impact will start its calculations and size out from there. Sometimes changing the position of the origin helps Impact "see" other geometry on the grid easier and can achieve more desirable results.
