Rubber Separators

Rubber Separators allows you to add Rubber Separators to blocks, allowing the rubber to be placed at an exact distance to the rule when applying. The palette for the Rubber Separators will be the same as the entity picked.

The Edit Bar controls will display the following options, depending on last usage, when the tool starts:

Rubber Separators - The current tool

Mode - Change the tool operational mode to one of the following:

Offset from both ends – allows you to add Separators at a specified Offset in from both ends of an entity. For this mode click the entity to the side the Separators are required.

Offset from end - allows you to add the Separator at a specified Offset from one end of an entity. For this mode you must click the entity offset to the end and side the Separator is to be created.

On entity – allows you to add the Separator at any point along an entity. For this mode click the entity about the centre point of the Separator to the side it is required.

Separator type - Change the Separator type to one of the following:

Square – will add a square edged Separator at a specified Width and Height.

Round – will add a round style Separator at the specified Height.

Width - Width of the Separator. Will also be used for the Height if the the Separator type is set to Round

Height - Height of the Separator. Not used for the Round type Separator.

To use: Set Edit Bar options, then click a point on an entity in a Rubber block where the separator is required.

NOTE: This tool will add any size Rubber Separators to any Rubber block with a point and click method. The preferred way should always be to do this in the Automatic Rubber Creator where size and placement of the Separators can be controlled in reference to Rubber type and Offset.
