This tool allows you to snap picked points to the point midway between two indicated points.
You can use other snap modes when picking the two points. The cursor is not modified but the Snap Messages area of the Status Bar displays Median Point 1/Median Point 2 as you use the tool.
For example, to start drawing a line halfway between two ends of existing lines, start the line tool, choose Snap Median, choose Snap End, pick the first end point then the second end point.
Now the first point for the new line has been specified.
