This tool allows you to enter text by drawing a marquee between two points to centre the text position.
After picking the second anchor point, the Text Editor form is displayed so you can enter and format the text.
Bounded text can be converted into normal text by selecting the text and unchecking the bounded check-box in the Entity Inspector Standard Toolbox (click the Text tab).
You can also adjust the alignment of selected bounded text to Top, Centre or Bottom using the Entity Inspector Standard Toolbox (again, click the Text tab).
Constraint Manager
If you have the Constraint Manager active whilst using this tool you will experience the following differences:
- A coincident constraint is added if the first click is on an existing entity and the top left corner of the bounding box is also on that entity
