This tool allows you to snap picked points to the intersection point between two indicated entities.
The cursor is modified to show “Inter” to indicate that the snap mode is active, as with the Snap > Intersection tool. The difference with this snap mode is that you must pick two entities individually.
The Snap Messages area of the Status Bar displays Entity1/Entity2 to show which entity is to be picked, as shown below.
This is equivalent to one pick, the pick being snapped to the intersection of the two entities. It does not matter if the two entities do not cross on the screen, so long as they would intersect if extended.
