This tool is useful for tidying the viewed geometry when previous operations have caused the entities to no longer be clearly displayed. For example, if two lines are overlapping and one of them is deleted, it is erased from the screen, leaving the “underneath” line partially obscured. Performing a repaint causes all entities to be fully redrawn.
