Save and Exit - Will accept the current changes and create Rubber geometry in the layer defined in the current Rubber Master Tool Setting (this could be the layer from where the tool was initiated, but normally a new layer for the Rubber parts is automatically created or a predefined empty layer is used).
Cancel and Exit - Will discard any changes and return to the layer where the tool was initiated.
Auto Rubber - Will create rubber blocks on one-ups, perimeter and waste areas relative to all visible entities using the current setting.
Rubber One-up - This is used to define a single carton to be rubbered. Snap the first corner enclosing a single design then identify the opposite corner. Blocks created using this mode can be nested using the one_up options of the Nest Rubber tool (see below). No Perimeter and Waste rubber will be applied.
Rubber Perimeter and Waste - Will create rubber blocks for the perimeter and waste areas only. No One_up rubber will be applied.
Manual Rubber - Will not create any rubber but will enable the rubber and editing tools for manual creation of rubber. Used to add small amounts of rubber to complicated areas whereas the rest of the die will be rubbered by hand using rubber strips or to complete existing rubber.
Automatic Profile - Will add profile rubber to all knives defined by the current setting, such as common knives, first knife on the grip edge and extents. The Edit Profile Tool is then automatically loaded (See Rubber Edit Profile).
Nest Rubber - This will nest the current Rubber Blocks. The Rubber Nester can be run inside the Rubber Creator using this button. The layers created can be viewed using the layers pulldown at the bottom left corner of the Rubber Creator. The Rubber Nester can also be run after the Rubber Creator has been finished, such as by another operator at a later stage in front of the rubber cutter machine, utilising more waste rubber sheets.
Visualise - Will create a 3D layer of the die and rubber blocks. The view can be manipulated using the toolbar at the bottom left of the Rubber Creator window and the layer can be changed back to the 2D version using the layers pulldown in the same place.
Edit One-up - This will ask what one-up to edit (assuming the one-ups are inserted as blocks) and then bring up an Edit One-up window with simple drawing and selection tools to allow for editing and correction of the one-up entities. All changes will be discarded once the user exits the Rubber Creator. This tool is only active after one of the rubber creation tools has run, i.e. the Auto Rubber tool, and will require that the rubber is re-applied once the One-up has been edited.
Print - This will display the Rubber Report form.
