The Import Tool is used to import geometry from a number of file formats into Impact.

Import file

You can specify the location of the file using the normal Windows features.

The list of files can be limited by selecting a specific file format from the pulldown list. See example below:-

Import file (Impact)

If this tool is called from the Design Options - Palettes form, then you are restricted to Impact files only.

Press this button to display the file details together with a low-resolution preview of the selected drawing in the Details window.

Click this button to continue with the Import procedure. Depending on the file format this button could also offer a Preview option.

Click this button to cancel the Import procedure.
