
Database Operation - New Items
This page is used to configure options used when creating new projects, templates and symbols.
Always use this template for new projects
You can specify a default template name, to suppress the form which prompts you to choose a template each time you create a new project.
Default Customer Code
New projects are assigned automatically to this customer. (Note: the customer item might actually be a dummy record to indicate that there is no customer at this stage.) Enter the code field (CS_CODE) for the customer.
Also assign to Imported projects
Switch this option on to assign imported projects to this customer code as well.
Create a Master Project by default
Switch this option on to create a master project by default whenever a new project is created.
Copy of Project Code
When opening a project as a copy of an existing project, you can define the new project code to be based on the original using the substitution code `%1`. The default value is blank.
Copy of Project Name
When opening a project as a copy of an existing project, you can define the new project name to be based on the original using the substitution code `%1`. The default value is `Copy of %1`.
After creating a new item show the following
Apply Open Project Auto-Updates
If this option is switched on then the Update Project Items tool is run whenever a new project is created.
For Projects
From the drop-down list select one of: Nothing, Integrated Database Window, Project Information, Project And Layer Information.
For Templates
From the drop-down list select one of: Nothing, Template Information.
For Symbols
From the drop-down list select one of: Nothing, Symbol Information.
The Database Windows optionally shown are Master Tool Settings, specified by Database Windows.
Import Manufacturing Palettes
Switch this option on if you use a palette database and wish to be prompted for palettes to be used in this drawing.
This option will only appear where the PALETTE table structure is present, and one or more record / row is present.
