Common Form

Use this section of the Visibility form to set the visibility settings for common entity types.

Visibility - Common

Visible Face

The terminology used for drawing sides is defined in Database Operation > terminology. So, these prompts could refer to Print-face, Die-face or Inside, Outside. Select the required option. Changing this causes the drawing to be viewed from the "other side" - in other words the drawing is flipped on the screen.

This setting can also be quickly changed using the Visible Face button, at the bottom of the drawing next to the layer tabs.

Alternatively you can use Utilities - Face settings to change both this setting and the actual orientation of the drawing.

Drawing

Sheet

Switching this option on causes the sheet's extents for multi-up layers to be made visible. When used, the project background that is outside the sheet limits is displayed in a different colour. The sheet size may be modified via the Layer Properties - Sheet form.

Grid

Switching this option on causes the reference grid to be made visible. The intervals of the grid are set up in Snap Settings - Grid and the colours of the grid in Options - Environment- Colours - Grid Dots and Lines.

Current Co-ordinate System Origin

Switching this option on causes the current co-ordinate system origin to be displayed with an X-axis/Y-axis marker, centred at the (0,0) position.

Lines

Use this option to display or hide line entities.

Show Bridges

Use this option to display bridges in lines.

Arcs/Circles

Use this option to display or hide arcs and circles.

Show Bridges

Use this option to display bridges in arcs and circles.

Construction Entities

Use this option to display or hide construction lines and circles.

Beziers

Use this option to display or hide Bezier curves.

Show Bridges

Use this option to display bridges in Bezier curves.
