Database Installation - Revisions
Project and Linked Revisions
A record of project updates is stored in the database (the username, project reference, date, time, comment and so on). In addition, if during the update the user chooses to create a project revision, a copy of the drawing data is stored too.
There is another type of revision - known as a linked revision - where one project records the fact that it was created from another project. This is significantly different to project revision because the two projects have distinct references (names) and there is no revision number as such.
If you wish, you can use both project revisions and linked revisions.
