This wizard allows you to export data from your Impact database into another database or into a text file.
It transfers the data from your database into a database on another connection or into a tab-delimited text file.
Export Data Wizard - Destination
Choose the destination for the data:
- Export data to another database - Press the edit button
to select the required database using the Connection Selector form and then enter the Username and Password (if required) for the chosen database - Export data to a text file - Press the edit button
and choose the location and name for the text file
Use regional settings for numbers, dates and times
Switch this option on to format the data according to the regional settings on your machine.

You can also export the database descriptions for the exported tables by specifying a file and location using the edit button

Select the tables to export by switching on the corresponding check-boxes. If you are exporting to a text file you can only select a single table at a time.
