Post Processors - Custom Strings
Any number of Custom strings can be defined. For each one enter a number, a label and the string to be output. They can be referenced in the plotter machine settings using the appropriate %<G number>. The label is simply used here as a reference. The string is used as a replacement for the %<G number>. For example, set up an entry with number 1 and string G54M20. In the Tool on field of one of the machine’s tools enter %<g1>. Whenever this tool is switched on, the string G54M20 will be output.
