Save Symbol As
From the tree-list choose the required group folder location in which to save the project.
Reference
Enter a unique reference name for this project.
Description
Enter an optional description for this project.
This form can be customised, via Save As Options, so the fields which appear may be different to those listed above.
Your system administrator can configure group folders using the Project Browser.
Additional options for symbols are:
Symbol can be scaled when inserted
Uses the Insert Symbol tool to determine if you have the option to scale the symbol when inserting it into a drawing.
Symbol can be optimised
Determines how the symbol is output during a plot. If this option is switched on the entity order within the symbol can be altered by the plot tool.
Symbol can be exploded
Determines how the symbol is output during a plot. If this option is switched on the symbol will be treated as a normal sub-block by the plot tool.
Once the symbol is saved, a copy is stored in the central database. Symbols are not saved in your Working Projects area. The symbol may close after the Save As form, dependent upon your Database Operations settings.
