Database Operation - New Layers
Layer Settings
If Layer settings exist in the Master Tool Settings then the following options apply:
- Choose the layer settings to create a new layer - the user will be prompted to choose the required settings
- Always use the following layer settings to create a new layer - from the drop-down list choose the settings to always use
Layer Material
Default Material
Press the edit button 
to choose the required material. This is the material that will be assigned to a new layer that has been created using the Default Layer button on the Layer Properties form. If, instead, you use the Use Settings button on that form the material assigned in the chosen Master Tool Setting will be used instead.
Material Groups
Enter the required material groups, separated by a semi-colon.
