This form is opened from the Automation - Plugin Manager tool. It allows a plug-in developer to test their code prior to adding it to the user interface for anyone to use.
Prior to using the Plug-in Manager, you should ensure you have built your plug-in library (DLL) in your chosen development environment (for example Visual Studio or Delphi).
Register - Press this button to locate a new item to register. This could be from a Dynamic Link Library (*.DLL), Impact Auto-Plugin (*.IAP) or Type Library (*.TLB) file.
Unregister - Select a Module item and press this button to remove the selected item.
Execute - Select a Tool item and press this button to execute the chosen tool.
Registering and Unregistering plug-ins will require Impact to be started with elevated privileges, i.e. 'Run as administrator' since plug-in registration will make both registry and file-system changes.
