Use this section of the Visibility form to set the background style for the current 3D layer.
3D Visibility - 3D Background
- 2D Background - check this option to apply a 2D background to the current 3D scene.
- Colour - click to select a single colour for the background. You can also access a colour picker to blend your own custom colours.
- Background Image - check this option to specify an image as a background for the 3D scene.
Texture - if any textures (artwork or materials) have been loaded into the current scene, they may be selected from the pull-down list, alternatively you can click to browse for an image file. A wide range of graphic file formats can be used.
Scale - a scale of 1 will force the selected image to fill the screen. You can create a tiled background effect by increasing the scale.
- Aspect Ratio Correction - switch this option on to correct the aspect ratio of the background image so that it appears correct, rather than distorted to fit the window size.
- Colour Gradient - if checked, you can create a blended 2D background, comprised of two user-defined colours
Direction - choose from a Horizontal or Vertical blend.
Colours - access the colour pickers in order to to specify the required colours.
- 3D Background - check this option to apply a 3D background to the current 3D scene.
Environment - select from the installed list of 'TruView' environments.
Blur - you can apply blurring to the environment if required.
Use 3D Environment reflection map - if checked, the reflection map specified within the 3D Environment > Reflection option will be used as the 3D Background.
