This wizard is displayed when you import a zipped MTS file that has been created with the MTS Smart Export function.
Smart MTS Import Wizard - Options
File to import
The chosen file will already be displayed here, but you can enter a different one or select one by pressing the edit button .
Retain remote timestamps
Switch this option on if you want to retain the existing timestamps. Otherwise a new timestamp will be given to all imported items.
Primary MTS view
List the following from zip file
From the pulldown list select either All items or New and updated items only.
Flatten custom folders
Switch this option on if required.
All MTS
Retain matching customer assignments
If the customer name in the remote database matches that in the local database then switching this option on will cause the imported settings to keep the same name.
Retain matching site assignments
If the site name in the remote database matches that in the local database then switching this option on will cause the imported settings to keep the same name.
Defaults for existing items
Include existing items
Switch this item on if you still want to import a setting that already exists in your database.
Action
From the pulldown list choose what to do with items that already exist - either Overwrite or Duplicate.
Smart MTS Import Wizard - Primary
This page will list all of the items to be imported. You can prevent certain items from being imported by switching off the corresponding check-box.
If you right-click on an item a context menu will be displayed with the following options:
- Compare versions - this will open the MTS Difference Viewer to compare the existing settings with those to be imported
- Include - this shows a sub-menu which allows you to include All, None, Only new, All in this folder or None in this folder items
