Machine Attributes - mruleset
These settings are used to configure the actual rule setter machine.
mruleset
Version
From the pulldown list choose mset|rule or mset|rule02, depending on the version of the machine you wish to drive.
Material type
Enter the material type.
Material width
Enter the material width
Minimum rule length
Enter the minimum rule length that can be processed by the mruleset machine
Maximum rule length
Enter the maximum rule length that can be processed by the mruleset machine
Minimum rule width
Enter the minimum rule width that can be processed by the mruleset machine
Maximum rule width
Enter the maximum rule width that can be processed by the mruleset machine
Rule height tolerance
Enter the rule height tolerance. Only those rules that are lower than the maximum rule height need to be processed using the presser tool. Rules whose height is within this tolerance of the highest rule will not need to be output with the presser tool.
Bend table
From the pulldown list select the required bend table MTS.
Allow Lipped Rules
Switch this option on if this machine is capable of outputting lipped rules. Otherwise they will not be output and will have to be placed manually. Only version mset|rule02 machines support lipped rules, so this option will be disabled for version mset|rule machines.
First pass sorting order
During the first output pass geometry will be sorted by palette sequence and then by rule width, rule height, block insertion and rule length.
By rule width
Ascending, Descending or By Frequency; from the pulldown list select the required sorting order.
By rule height
Ascending, Descending or By Frequency; from the pulldown list select the required sorting order.
By length
Ascending, Descending or By Frequency; from the pulldown list select the required sorting order.
Symbols
Location marker symbol
Specify the symbol that will be recognised as identifying the location marker positions.
Failed rule symbol
If specified, this symbol will be placed in the drawing to indicate any rules that could not be output. This could be due to incompatible lips on adjacent rules.
Default palette
Palette
From the pulldown list choose the default palette that will be used when replacing invalid palettes.
Presser tool
Tool
Version mset|rule02 machines do not require Presser tools to be defined, so this section will be disabled.
From the pulldown list choose the presser tool that is to be used.
The table below the presser tool is used to define which tool number should be assigned to which range of rule lengths.
