This tab allows you to modify one or more selected 3D light sources.
Entity Inspector - Light
Light Type
From the drop-down list choose the required Light type: Point Light, Spot Light, Target Spot Light, Directional Light or Target Directional Light.
Enabled
Switch this option on to enable the light source.
Light Parameters
Colour
From the colour selector, choose the required light colour.
Brightness
Enter a value between 0 and 1000 Watts for the brightness.
Distance
Enter the distance at which the light will illuminate objects.
Attenuation
From the drop-down list choose either Linear or Constant.
Fall off
Enter the fall off angle between 0 and 45deg. This is the extent of the cone generated by the light.
Hot spot
Enter the hot spot angle between 0 and 45deg. This is the size of the light beam that produces full light.
Shape
From the drop-down box choose either Circle or Rectangle for the shape of the light source.
Aspect
This is only valid for rectangular light sources. Enter a value between 1 and 10 to specify the aspect ratio of adjacent sides of the rectangle.
Shadow Parameters
Enabled
Switch this option on to enable shadows.
Density
Enter a value between 0 and 100 to define how dark the shadow should appear.
Definition
Enter a value between 0 and 100 to specify the shadow's edge definition.
