The Recompute Design function applies size changes to variables in the parametric design. It is necessary to click this button when Automatic Update is not checked or the Auto Update button is disabled (not highlighted).
To use simply click on the number to the right of the desired variable in the variable window to change the value or measurement. Then, right click and go to Recompute Design; the new value is applied to the design.
