Workstation - Proxy Server
Impact uses HTTP requests to connect to various web services, including:-
- Downloading RSS feeds from ImpactCAD.net
- Displaying information about Standards and Design Components available from ImpactCAD.net
- Browsing Impact databases using an HTTP connection
- Browsing an automatically configured Enterprise database
By default Impact automatically detects the proxy settings as configured in Internet Explorer.
Alternatively, you can use this page to manually configure the proxy server settings for each Impact workstation.
If Impact has detected a configured proxy server it is shown in the first radio button caption.
If you don’t want to use the default proxy server or Impact cannot detect the proxy settings you can manually configure a proxy server including port number.
