This panel allows you to quickly switch between open projects and their respective layers.
Impact Explorer - Drawings Hierarchy
The icons indicate whether each drawing is a project or symbol . Similarly the layer icons indicate a one-up layer , a multi-up layer or a 3D layer . A disk icon is shown beside any drawing and layer that contains unsaved modifications.
The current drawing is shown in bold. The current layer is highlighted. Simply click on any drawing or layer to make it current. When making a layer current there are special key functions available as described in the Layers page - Special keys.
The display format of the layer name can be defined in the Environment > Database Operation > Display.
Right click context menu
- On a project name - this makes the project current and then offers these options:
- Close
- Save
- Save as
- Explorer Pages - Switch to one of the other Impact Explorer pages
- Show the Block Inspector
- Open the Project Options
- On a layer - this makes the project current (if it isn't already) and then offers these options:
- Select - Make the layer current (optionally using the Ctrl or Shift keys as described here)
- New - Create a new layer
- Markup - Create a markup layer
- Copy a layer - Using the Copy Layers tool
- Duplicate - Create a duplicate of this layer
- Delete the layer
- Refresh - Make the layer current
- Show the Block Inspector
- Explorer Pages - Switch to one of the other Impact Explorer pages
- Open the Layer properties
