This tool allows you to inspect the positions of drill holes before sending a job to a die-saw. On activating the tool, the Plot form appears.
From the Plot form select the Machine and Post Processor Master Tool Settings for which you have already set up the drill holes. In the Post Processor Attributes the Place Drill Holes option should be switched on, a Drill Hole symbol selected and the rest of the parameters set up.
The drill holes are displayed on the drawing as circles (in a user-configurable colour). They are not entities, so you cannot select them or manipulate them directly. If two or more symbols are placed close together (as defined by the Nearest value in the Post Processor Attributes) then these are displayed with a different user-configurable colour.
The tool continues running until you press the Cancel button on the Edit Bar. While it is active, you can use any of the drawing or editing tools to adjust the existing geometry in order to correct any conflicts. If you then wish to recalculate the drill hole positions, simply press the Re-run button on the Edit Bar.
Switch entity
Use this button to reverse the direction of one or more entities. Identify each entity (which must be in the top-level block) as required. Cancel the Switch tool from the right-click context menu when you have finished.
Rerun after switch
If this option is switched on then the drill hole positions will be automatically recalculated when you cancel the Switch tool. Otherwise you'll need to press the Re-run button.
