Post Processors - Fillet Relief
Fillet relief is an extra laser motion that produces relief in areas close to smaller blend radii.
Chordal relief
This is an extra laser motion from end-point to end-point of a circular arc to remove some of the interior portion of the sector defined by the arc.
Linear relief
This is an extra laser motion consisting entirely of lines that form a triangle or quadrilateral convex hull around a circular arc.
Use fillet relief
Select this option if fillet relief is to be applied to fillets that are in the drawing. The entities must have had their fillet relief attribute switched on using the Edit > Entities > Change Properties tool.
From the list select all the palette types that should have fillet relief applied to them.
Position tolerance
Enter the position tolerance. This value is used to check for discontinuities between the ends of adjacent entities.
Angle tolerance
Enter the angle tolerance. This value is used to check for discontinuities in smoothness between adjacent entities.
Max. radius for linear relief
Only arcs with a smaller radius than this will have linear fillet relief applied to them.
Max. radius for chordal relief
Only arcs with a smaller radius than this will have chordal fillet relief applied to them.
Relief extension
Enter the value for the extension that is used in linear fillet relief, as shown in the diagrams above.
Max. angle for quadrilateral
This is the maximum included angle for arcs to have quadrilateral fillet relief applied to them.
