This toolbox can be opened via the Window > Standard Toolboxes menu.
The Output Toolbox is used as a method for capturing information from many of the Impact tools such as the Enquire tools, the Script Toolbox and others.
Context Menu
The options on the context menu are as follows:
- Cut - this will place the selected contents on the Windows clipboard, as well as removing it from the Output toolbox
- Copy - this place a copy of the selected contents on the Windows clipboard, while also leaving the selected text in the toolbox
- Clear -clears the contents of the entire toolbox
- Select All - this will select all text within the Output Toolbox
- Select None - this will deselect all of the text within the toolbox
- Toggle Selection -this will invert the selection state of the text
- Save to File -this will save the entire contents of the Output toolbox to an external text file
- Print -this will print the contents of the toolbox
