Reverse Crease

This page allows you to define the offsets and milling for pockets of reverse crease allowing for a milled bead or steel plate insert.

Automatic reverse crease - determines if any reverse crease type entities will be included in the matrix creation.

Crease In Mat

Defines the palette and settings to create a reverse crease bead in the make ready. This page allows you to define different properties for each palette.

Reverse Crease - Crease in Mat

Add - highlight an existing setting and click this button. The attributes of the highlighted setting will be copied.

Delete - will delete the highlighted setting.

Palette - from the pulldown choose the palette that the pocket will be created relative to.

Width - overall width of the pocket.

Angle - angle from the end of the shoulder to the parallel offset.

Shoulder - perpendicular offset distance.

Set back - distance to shorten or extend the pocket relative to each end point of the reverse crease entity.

Extend - determines if the set back is negative or positive.

Bead width - width of the bead to be left within the pocket to create the reverse crease.

Include peripheral tools - if checked the pocket will be profiled by the palette selected from the pulldown list.

Fill area tool set - from the pulldown list select the setting to calculate the milled pockets. The settings are created in Fill Area master tool settings.

Recess For Insert

Defines the palettes and settings to create a milled pocket in the matrix. This page allows you to define different properties for each palette.

Reverse Crease - Recess for Insert

Add - highlight an existing setting and click this button. The attributes of the highlighted setting will be copied.

Delete - will delete the highlighted setting.

Palette - from the pulldown choose the palette that the pocket will be created relative to.
